CASE Construction Equipment has launched its new D-Series motor graders, specifically the 836D and 856D models, expanding on the success of the previous C-Series. These upgraded machines emphasize enhanced operator comfort and productivity, featuring a redesigned cabin with intuitive controls and robust Dual Power engines.
The D-Series models boast a low-profile ROPS/FOPS cab, providing superior visibility and easier transport due to its reduced height. The cabin is equipped with full-width tinted glazing, a touchscreen display for essential machine and maintenance data, and a rear-view camera. The cabin layout is ergonomically designed, featuring a customizable display, electronic hand throttle, and multiple storage compartments. Operators can opt for either electro-hydraulic joystick controls or traditional mechanical levers, both offering precise machine function control. The cabin also includes a heated, air-suspended seat and three-axis joysticks with comprehensive control options for enhanced comfort and precision.
Powered by a Stage V compliant six-cylinder FPT diesel engine, the D-Series graders deliver a dual power curve that maximizes power output as transmission ratios increase, boosting productivity. The engine is compatible with HVO and other synthetic fuels and features a maintenance-free Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCRoF) system. The Ergopower transmission ensures seamless gear changes, while the all-wheel-drive models offer a creep mode for precise work on various terrains. Optional 24” tires are available for challenging ground conditions.
The D-Series offers customizable moldboard configurations, including various widths, extensions, and features such as an overload clutch and five-tooth ripper. The moldboard is designed with a roller-mounted encapsulated slewing ring, reducing wear and providing high mechanical torque for precise control. Fewer greasing points result in reduced maintenance, maximizing uptime and profitability.
CASE also offers comprehensive after-sales solutions for the D-Series graders, including the CASE SiteWatch subscription for fleet management and geofencing. The CASE SiteConnect system enhances telematics, allowing dealers to receive real-time alerts about machine performance for proactive maintenance and repair. Additional services include CASE Care, a maintenance program using genuine parts, and CASE Protect extended warranty, alongside CASE Fluid Analysis to ensure optimal machine performance and prevent unexpected costs.
