Expanding the Utility Tractor Lineup
Bobcat Company has expanded its robust tractor lineup with the addition of the UT6066, UT6566, and UT6573 models. These tractors are engineered to tackle heavy-duty work while simplifying operations for both novice and experienced operators.
According to Jonathan Widmer, a senior product specialist at Bobcat, “Bobcat utility tractors are built to be user-friendly, dependable, and versatile, ensuring maximum performance and productivity.” These tractors allow operators to concentrate on achieving top results, whether they are utilizing attachments or handling materials with the tractor’s loader.
The newly launched utility tractors are equipped with 12×12 power shuttle transmissions, enabling smooth gear shifting without needing to engage the clutch pedal. Powered by turbocharged Tier 4 diesel engines, these tractors deliver substantial power and low-end torque while maintaining fuel efficiency. They are also designed for reliable starts, fast travel speeds, extended component life, easy maintenance, and reduced noise and vibration, ensuring a comfortable experience for the operator.
The UT6566 and UT6573 models come standard with a climate-controlled cab, offering comfort in all weather conditions. The tractors also feature wide glass panels, easy visibility to the 3-point hitch, and ergonomic controls designed to enhance operator performance and reduce fatigue.
Versatility in Implements and Attachments
Bobcat’s optional front-end loader is designed for ease of attachment and removal, featuring a free-standing capability when detached. The loader provides impressive lift and reach, boosting productivity, and includes the Bobcat Bob-Tach® system for quick and easy attachment changes. The loader’s mechanical self-leveling feature ensures that pallet forks remain level throughout the lifting process, minimizing spillage.
Bobcat utility tractors are equipped with a rear PTO that can reach 540 rpm at engine speeds of 1,800 or 2,500 rpm, providing maximum power. The Category 2, 3-point hitch enhances the tractors’ versatility, allowing operators to handle tasks that require both powered and non-powered implements. The telescopic lower links and stabilizers simplify implement connections and removals without needing tools, while rear-remote hydraulics further increase these tractors’ versatility. Operators can engage the PTO with a simple push-and-turn button.
